Audio is one of the very, very few categories that Best Buy sells that actually has substantial profit so they are very reluctant to discount things.
That means they have profit margins that are very high that must be maintained. They're owned by Best Buy, the employees checks say Best Buy at the top. What they also have that small shops don't that works for you is overhead. Protection plans (for those customers that like them) What they really have though that the "small shops" don't are that will work against you is But, I did have access to order the products we didn't stock/display and worked with the guys at the nearest one by email and phone.īasically, yes, they have a lot of product and they have guys (and gals) that tend to really know what they're talking about. No McIntosh, no B&W Diamonds, no Signature Series Martin Logans, etc and we were physically inside a Best Buy, not stand alone. Basically, we didn't carry the extreme high-ends.
